Crosby O’Hare is one of the founding partners of Clairfield International. He has been advising on domestic and cross-border corporate finance, capital advisory, and mergers and acquisition transactions for more than 26 years during which he has originated, managed, and executed sell-side, buy-side, and capital advisory mandates principally in the middle-market space with transactions ranging in value from under USD 10 million to USD 600 million for private and family-owned companies, public companies, and private-equity and investment firms. His transaction experience spans North America, South America, and Europe, as well as Australia and India. Crosby has advised on transactions in a wide array of industries including consumer products, e-commerce, cement and aggregates, building products and construction services, chemicals, business services, IT services, and real estate transactions including hotels, resorts and multi-family properties. In recent years, Crosby has also focused on select growth markets including cannabis, biotech, and e-commerce companies and start-ups.
Prior to the founding of Clairfield, he worked with Crédit Commercial de France (acquired by HSBC in 2000) and several midmarket firms in both Italy and the US. In an earlier life, he worked in entrepreneurial endeavors in real estate redevelopment and the purchase and sale of small businesses. He earned an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management, the graduate business school of Università Bocconi, Milan, Italy and is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
