Thierry Chetrit founded French boutique intuitucapital, the precursor to Clairfield France, in 1998, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, private placement, and investment activities. Thierry has advised dozens of sell-side and buy-side transactions, with particular expertise in crossborder transactions involving both strategic buyers and private equity funds. He has advised numerous industries including business services, IT and media, food, and healthcare. He was formerly managing director of BBDO France (Omnicom Group, NYSE) at 31, where he executed acquisitions while holding financial and operational responsibilities. He began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. As an entrepreneur, Thierry is often involved in companies not only as an advisor but in operational roles in companies that he founded or bought out. He served as a member of the supervisory board of the food company Madrange (EUR 300 million in sales) from March 2009 to July 2011 before selling it to the group Turenne Lafayette. He is Director at Schneider Consumer (household appliances). Thierry supports the social impact investment firm PE Impact Partenaires. He is one of the co-founders and current vice chairman of Clairfield International while managing the development of the firm in France as CEO, which now has a staff of 32 professionals.
