FMT Holding AB, a market-leading Swedish manufacturer of passenger handling and operational support systems for airports and seaports, sold its Aircraft Gate Support Systems division to the German listed company thyssenkrupp AG for an undisclosed amount.

FMT has sales offices across four continents, all research and development and manufacturing take place at FMT’s global headquarters in Trelleborg, Sweden. In recent years, FMT has focused on enhancing the efficiency of the operations, which has resulted in the decision by FMT to sell its Aircraft Gate Support Systems division and to focus fully on Passenger Boarding Bridges for airports and seaports.
