19 Feb Clairfield International to hold technology and healthcare conference in Jerusalem
Clairfield International in Israel will be hosting a technology and healthcare conference for its global partners in Jerusalem on February 25th and 26th. Investment bankers from 10 countries will meet to discuss trends and opportunities in these sectors. Panel discussions will include breakthrough drone technologies, smart mobility, telematics, and digital health.
An impressive array of local experts will address the partners from Clairfield. Opening remarks will be given by the Honorable Ami Applebaum, the chief scientist for the government of Israel. Other guest speakers at the conference include Dr. Anat Lea Bonshtien, chairman and director of the Smart Mobility Initiative; Jon Medved, founder and CEO of OurCrowd, the world’s largest crowdfunding platform; Sharon Shapira, digital health sector manager at Start-Up Nation Central; and Barak Singer, CEO, from Trendlines, an Israeli venture fund focusing on medical devices.
TMT and healthcare are sectors where Clairfield brings in-depth expertise. Clairfield was recently ranked number one by Refinitiv (Thomson Reuters) for midmarket TMT transactions. Our transaction record in technology includes advisory on behalf of Starhome Mach, an Israeli provider of wireless mobility solutions, in its sale to Telarix Inc., a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners, for USD 100 million. Other valued clients include Devoteam, eKomi, KPMG, Mazeberry, Nets, and SoLocal.
Healthcare is also an active segment for us, with recent advisory assignments particularly in the segments of dental and residential care as well as medical technology, which will be primary focus of the Jerusalem meeting.
“We are excited to present to Clairfield the high-tech promise of Israel, and to show Israel the power of the Clairfield partnership” said Joseph Sabet, managing director of Clairfield Israel. “Everyone at Clairfield is very interested in hearing what the Start-Up Nation is all about.”
