Antoine van den Abeele has 16 years of experience in structuring and managing equity investments related to early phase and middle market growth companies. He is a co-founder of ServiFund, a venture capital Fund and focuses now on Buy-Outs, corporate reengineering with private equity investments and M&A.

From 1993 to 1997, he was the partner-in-charge of the Belgian operations of Halder, one of the largest independent investment capital firms in Germany and the Benelux. He led, structured, and managed private equity investments and buyouts. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. van den Abeele was an investment manager and associate director of 3i France, the subsidiary of 3i (Investors in Industry) Group plc, the largest European venture capital firm. He worked in the United Kingdom and in France, and launched operations in Belgium. Further milestones in his career include Heidrick & Struggles, a worldwide leader in executive search, Texaco, and Memorex.

Mr. van den Abeele holds a degree in Business Administration from ICHEC and an MBA from the University of Leuven.
