Guy Catteau has over 30 years of experience as finance and managing director, predominantly with industrial companies. His career began in 1972, as a consultant with Touche, Ross & Co. From 1974 to 1991, he acquired broad experience in managing and restructuring a number of companies in the Tractebel and Générale Groups. He worked in sectors such as metals, food, and ceramics, and at holding companies. He made major achievements during the restructuring of Acec-UM, and as CFO of Fabrique Nationale Herstal. In 1991, Mr. Catteau became CFO of Etex Group (Eternit), where he restructured the financial organization and conducted the takeover bid on the listed Etex France. Since 1997, he has fulfilled numerous assignments as financial consultant or change manager, and serves as non-executive director of private and listed companies. Mr. Catteau is a commercial engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
