Rob van der Laan has over 10 years of experience in M&A and MBOs. Prior to joining Boer & Croon, Clairfield's partner in the Netherlands, Mr. van der Laan headed Turnpoint, an independent M&A boutique with offices in five European countries, where he successfully initiated, managed, and closed over 25 transactions in five years. At the beginning of 2004 he joined Boer & Croon Corporate Finance+ as a partner. Mr. van der Laan is a graduate in economics from Rotterdam University and a chartered accountant. He has an excellent network of contacts within the Dutch private equity market and is preferred advisor to a number of Dutch corporates such as Vopak and Vedior.
