Edward S. Croft co-founded Croft & Bender, Clairfield’s partner in Atlanta, in 1996. Prior to that, Edward was a managing director of the corporate finance department at The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc. and was a member of its board of directors. Edward joined Robinson-Humphrey in 1971 and played an important role in building the firm into a leading investment bank in the Southeast. Edward has been involved in many industries, including technology, healthcare, communications, retailing, manufacturing, distribution and services. Prior to joining Robinson-Humphrey, he worked for White, Weld & Co. in New York and also served for two years as an officer in the U.S. Army. Edward has served and continues to serve on the boards of several corporations. He also served as a member of the NASD Corporate Finance Committee for several years. Edward is also a Managing Partner of C&B Capital, a growth equity fund affiliated with Croft & Bender.
Edward received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Washington & Lee University.
