Andrew is a proficient corporate financier and merchant banker with extensive hands-on experience building and running companies and advising the owners and boards of companies in the public and private sectors.
With over 35 years’ professional and corporate management experience, with particular expertise in the property and investment banking industries in the UK and USA, Andrew is currently founder and chairman of Dial Partners LLP. Previously, Andrew was deputy chairman and co-founding partner of Carlton Partners LLP, an independent advisory and asset management firm co-owned with Halifax/Bank of Scotland, leading capital raisings for prominent household names and conducting high level M&A advisory services. Previous appointments include acting chief executive of Farnborough Aircraft PLC, Group CEO of European Healthcare Group plc and chief executive of Crestacare plc.
He has served on the board of many companies including Historic Buildings Inc, British Airways Global Advisory, Ultimate Training Munitions Ltd and Grosvenor House Group PLC, where he was a co-founding shareholder and past director, and Seattle Coffee Company where he was a co-founding shareholder.
Andrew’s extensive philanthropic activities include over 20 years’ service to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity where he has provided support on numerous board initiatives and is currently a fundraising patron. He also serves the Marie Curie Charity as its special events patron. His activities include the chairmanship of the Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot Limited, a not for profit company which has held multiple events on behalf of numerous charities. Andrew was a past chairman of the board of governors of Bishopsgate School where he served for 20 years, and a founding trustee and past member of the board of the Millfield School Foundation where he served for 10 years.
