Mergers & acquisitions with Europe have been overlooked by the Israeli tech ecosystem, says Joseph Sabet, partner at Clairfield Israel, in an article published on Calcalist, the leading Israeli business newspaper focusing on\u00a0marketing, technology, and finance.<\/p>\n

Joseph finds that Israeli tech companies are overly dependent on US buyers and do not investigate opportunities with European \u00abhidden giants\u00bb that\u00a0have grown successfully without ever taking external equity funding. In the year to come, he anticipates more tech M&A by Israeli private equity, which has traditionally focused on industrial companies, and sees European tech companies becoming attractive potential add-ons.<\/p>
