Eddie Charlton

Eddie qualified as a lawyer in the City of London before becoming a banker. He continued his career at Hambros Bank and subsequently held directorships at Banque Paribas, Henry Ansbacher & Co. and HSBC. He was also CEO of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg in London for 14 years and, more recently, held a position as senior advisor to various Citibank N.A. entities worldwide.

During his career he has held a wide range of outside directorships, trusteeships and consultancies in the media, leisure, sports, property, IT, mining, health, entertainment and hedge fund sectors, including chairing the Board of the publicly-quoted Diligent Corporation. Eddie was until recently the senior independent director at Williams Grand Prix Holdings plc and a non-executive director of Sportfolio Trading.

He is currently chairman of Strabens Hall Limited and Tap Films Limited.
