Liz Williamson

Liz is the head of energy for RMB, Clairfield’s partner in South Africa. Based in the UK, Liz is responsible for M&A transactions in renewable energy as well as oil and gas across Africa. She has led the growth of the bank’s international energy client base since 2015.

Originally from Texas, Liz started her career in private equity focused on domestic upstream transactions. Thereafter she joined GMP Securities and Canaccord where she advised international exploration and production companies on capital markets and M&A.

Liz graduated with degree in political science from Davidson College in the US and holds a master’s in energy trade and finance from the Cass Business School in London.
