Matthias Grau is partner at Saxenhammer, Clairfield’s partner in Germany. Matthias has advised on more than 100 M&A and debt capital transactions in all major industries in Germany. He has particular expertise in crossborder distressed M&A transactions, especially with Chinese and Japanese investors.

Matthias previously worked at the law firms Fiedler & Forster, Bongen, Renaud & Partner, Feddersen Laule Scherzberg, Ohle Hansen Ewerwahn Finkelnburg Clemm, and later White & Case LLP.

Matthias speaks German, English, and French.
