Alberto Tavecchio

Alberto joined Clairfield in Italy as a partner in 2026. He brings over 25 years of experience in M&A and corporate finance, with a strong track-record in advising on midmarket transactions across Europe.

Before joining Clairfield, Alberto was a partner at Caretti & Associati, a Milan-based independent corporate finance boutique. He previously spent more than two decades at Credit Suisse, working in London, Zurich, and Milan, where he led the origination and execution of numerous crossborder M&A transactions, advising both corporate clients and financial sponsors. Earlier in his career, he held positions in the consulting division of Price Waterhouse and in Robert Fleming’s investment banking division in Milan.

Alberto has successfully advised several entrepreneurial Italian families on succession-planning matters. In multiple cases, he led international sales processes that balanced business continuity with family goals, often resulting in trusted, long-term relationships beyond the deal itself.

Alberto graduated from Bocconi University in Milan with a degree in business administration and holds a master’s in finance from the London Business School.
