Carlos Vallmitjana

Carlos is an experienced financial professional and partner at Clairfield in Spain.

Carlos started his career in various national audit firms, culminating as director of the Andorra office for a national audit firm now known as RSM. He then moved to the Endesa Group in Madrid, where he was responsible for coordinating and monitoring the external audits of companies in Europe. He also participated in the due diligence processes for several of the Group’s acquisitions.

Following this, Carlos joined the Transaction Services group at PwC in Barcelona as a manager, specialising in providing due diligence and M&A advisory services to private equity firms and corporate clients. In 2004, he co-founded ILV Silver, which specialises in providing transaction and due diligence services for business acquisitions and investments in Spain.

Carlos is a certified auditor and member of the Spanish audit regulatory body (ROAC). He holds a degree in economics and business studies from the University of Barcelona and a postgraduate degree in corporate finance from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
