Christian Saxenhammer

Christian is CEO and founder of Saxenhammer, Clairfield’s partner in Germany, and has over two decades of experience in M&A and capital markets advisory. He specialises in midmarket crossborder transactions, with a focus on complex special situations and the technology sector. Over the course of his career, he has advised on M&A and debt capital transactions across a wide range of industries in the German market.

Before founding his own M&A advisory boutique in 2006, Christian began his career at Commerzbank in London as an analyst in corporate banking before joining Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a senior consultant in the restructuring division. He later served as managing director of the Special Situations Group at Lincoln International.

Christian graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in European business and holds an executive certificate from the Transdisciplinary Innovation Program (TIP) at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
