Daniel Zubillaga

Daniel is a partner at Clairfield in Argentina. He brings over two decades of experience in the capital markets and structured finance, with deep expertise in securitisation, negotiable obligations, and alternative financing instruments for clients in the financial, real estate, retail, and consumer sectors.

Daniel played a key role in Argentina’s first consumer credit securitisation—Consubond I for the Frávega Group—in 1996 and has since led numerous capital markets transactions as financial advisor and lead arranger. His career has contributed significantly to the development of structured finance solutions within the Argentine market.

In addition to his role at First Corporate Finance, Daniel is a partner at Zubillaga & Asociados, a firm recognised for its leadership in control and review agent services in the capital markets. He previously held senior roles as a partner at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance S.A., Ernst & Young Financial Advisory Services and Real Estate Consulting, and Arrigoni & Asociados.

Daniel graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in accountancy and holds a master’s degree in finance, specialising in capital markets, from the University of CEMA.
