Edward Grey

Edward is a Managing Director at Clairfield in the US, based in New York City. His practice focuses on providing M&A advisory services to companies in the life sciences sector, particularly emerging medtech companies based in the United States and Western and Central Europe.

Edward graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1989 with a double major in economics and industrial management. He also serves as a mentor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship, advising emerging medtech companies on M&A and strategic partnerships. Carnegie Mellon ranks #14 nationally and #1 in Artificial Intelligence in the 2027 US News & World Report rankings.

Edward is also a graduate of Vermont Law School, where he received the Award of Academic Excellence in Law & Economics. He holds a certificate from Kyoto University in statistical methods for gene mapping and previously served as capital markets editor of the prestigious Middle East Business Magazine & News.
