Guillermo Barbero

Guillermo Barbero is a partner at Clairfield in Argentina with more than 30 years of experience in financial consulting, transaction advisory, and external and internal audit.

Previously, Guillermo was a partner at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance S.A., where he led advisory mandates in the consumer credit industry. His experience encompasses due diligence, valuations, regulatory compliance, and advisory services for private investment groups, particularly in transactions requiring engagement with the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.

He has led capital markets and financing initiatives for major Argentine corporates, including Garbarino S.A., Coto CICSA, and Musimundo S.A., supporting the development of proprietary payment systems and market-based financing strategies. He has also acted as a financial and regulatory advisor to institutions such as Banco de Galicia, Caja de Crédito Cuenca C.L., and Banco Columbia.

He is listed in the Registry of External and Internal Auditors of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic and has held academic positions at the University of Buenos Aires and at the Instituto Universitario ESEADE. Guillermo has a degree in accountancy from the University of Buenos Aires and is a member of the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires.
