James Portman

James is an executive at Clairfield in the UK team. He joined the firm as an analyst in August 2023, having first worked with Clairfield during a 2021/22 industrial placement year as part of his degree, and has since progressed through the organisation to his current role.

At Clairfield, James provides buyside and sellside transaction support, research and financial analysis.

He graduated from Aston University with a degree in Business Management, and holds the ICAEW CFAB qualification along with the Corporate Finance Certificate and Diploma from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
