Pedro Cristiá

Pedro is a partner at Clairfield in Argentina and a founding partner of First Capital Markets S.A., where he currently serves as general manager, overseeing capital markets activity and the development of mutual fund products. Between 2016 and 2018, he also served as a board director of Mercado Argentino de Valores S.A., contributing to the innovation of new exchange-traded instruments.
With over a decade of experience in investment portfolio management, Pedro specialises in fixed income strategies for both retail and institutional clients. From 2006 to 2014, he held positions at Rosental S.A. Sociedad de Bolsa, initially as a fixed income analyst and portfolio manager, and later as capital markets manager, with responsibility for trading and institutional client relationships.
In addition to his professional roles, Pedro has had an extensive academic career. Since 2006, he has taught microeconomics and macroeconomics at the National University of Rosario, where he is currently a full professor in financial economic administration, risk, and financial instruments within the undergraduate economics programme.
Pedro graduated from the National University of Rosario with degrees in economics and accountancy, and is a CFA charterholder awarded by the CFA Institute (USA).
