Raul Alcocer

Raul Alcocer has almost 20 years of experience as an M&A advisor with a background in large investment banks, professional services firms, and M&A boutiques. Over this time Raul has developed expertise in the food and beverage, business services, healthcare, packaging, and industrials sectors.

Raul was previously director of the M&A team at RSM Madrid where he originated and executed sell-side and buy-side transactions with family-owned businesses, multinationals, and private equity firms. Prior to that, he was vice president at BDO in Madrid. Raul started his career as an M&A analyst at Rabobank in Madrid, with secondments in Amsterdam, and London and active involvement in a worldwide collaboration with Rothschild between 2009 and 2012.

Raul had an active role in the following transactions: the disposal of Sara Lee’s bakery business in Spain (Bimbo) to Mexican Grupo Bimbo; the sale of Quesos Forlasa to Lactalis; the acquisition by the Italian Bolton Group of Grupo Calvo; the sale of Catalonia-based cosmetic ingredients manufacturer Textron International to HIG portfolio company Vantage; the sale of feed additives manufacturer 3F Feed&Food to US-listed Eastman Chemical; and the acquisition by One Equity Partner backed Walki Group of the flexible packaging manufacturer Plasbel.
