Chris Schindler

Chris Schindler is a senior advisor at Saxenhammer, Clairfield’s partner in Germany. Chris has more than 30 years of experience executing international M&A, corporate finance, and restructuring mandates at partner level in various countries and industries.

He was previously a partner at KPMG Corporate Finance, a senior advisor in EY’s Automotive Transaction Services Division, vice chair of Peters Associates (now Lincoln International), managing director of Grant Thornton’s

Recovery & Reorganization Division, and European principal of BBK, Ltd. a Detroit-based advisory firm that worked almost exclusively for General Motors, Chrysler, Daimler, and Toyota on global supplier issues.

He holds an MBA from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and an undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard University.
