Horacio Contino

Horacio  is a partner at Clairfield in Argentina (First Capital) with over 30 years of experience advising large national and international business groups across a range of sectors, including retail, agribusiness, and consumer finance. He has led numerous securitisation transactions and corporate debt issuances in the Argentine capital markets and is recognised for his expertise in structured finance and financial strategy.

He has served as a financial advisor to leading companies in Argentina and played a key role in the design and implementation of consumer credit systems for several of the country’s major retail operators.

In addition to his advisory work, Horace teaches at the Austral University in Rosario and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars focused on the Argentine capital markets. He regularly publishes articles with insights drawn from his professional experience. He has led regulatory update programmes for banking professionals in Bahía Blanca, Tandil, and Mar del Plata, with participation from officials of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic. Horacio has also been a guest lecturer in postgraduate programmes in business sciences at the Instituto Universitario ESEADE.

Horacio graduated from the National University of Rosario with a degree in accountancy and business administration.
