Nicholas Hanser

Nicholas Hanser is partner at Saxenhammer, Clairfield’s partner in Germany. Nicholas Hanser has nearly 20 years of experience in international corporate finance and has advised on over 60 transactions, with a particular focus on technology and healthcare. Based in Munich, Nicholas has a global network across the investment and finance industry.

He previously held senior investment banking roles at Credit Suisse First Boston, Jefferies, BNP Paribas, and Bryan Garnier, working across Zurich, London, Frankfurt, and Munich. He has executed deals with leading corporations and financial sponsors, including Hellman & Friedman, Blackstone, Scout24, Deutsche Post, Deutsche Telekom, Commerzbank, MSC, Nordex, Aixtron, Refresco Gerber, 3i Group, Imprivata, Sixt Leasing, Telefonica, Salto Systems, Rolls-Royce Power Systems, Medartis, Vehiculum, and MorphoSys. Nicholas is also an active investor in early-stage technology companies and serves on the board of several startups.

Nicholas graduated from ESCP Business School with a master’s in management and from the Bayes Business School with a master’s in science. He also holds a PhD in economics and management.
