Petr is a member of the board of directors and executive director at Clairfield in the Czech Republic. He is responsible for managing the Czech corporate finance team and providing corporate finance advisory services, including mergers & acquisitions, financing advisory, divestitures, valuations and fairness opinions, to local and foreign clients.
Petr has more than 23 years’ experience in corporate finance and capital markets including three years at Komeční banka/Société Générale and 20 years at Erste Bank Group where he participated in large and mid-scale, local and regional M&A projects.
The most notable projects Petr has been involved in include advisory to the consortium of infrastructure funds (Borealis Infrastructure), Allianz Capital Partners with the acquisition of gas TSO, (Net4GAs); advisory to ČEZ for several CEE transactions; advisory to the funding of Infracapital from Prudential Group as part of the the acquisition of Slovak heating group GGE; advisory for the refinancing of rail company Leo Express; and advisory for the acquisition of a minority stake in the mobility company FlixBus. Petr also participated in many valuations and fairness opinions prepared for local clients. From 2019 to 2020, Petr was involved in the sale of the company Conectart, a portfolio of CZ&SK solar PPs and heating plant Pribramska teplarenska.
Petr holds a masters from the faculty of engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague.
