William Conroy

Will joined Clairfield’s partner in Australia, InterFinancial, in 2025. As associate, he builds financial models, prepares transaction documentation and supports the senior team at every stage of the deal lifecycle, from the first pitch to execution. He focuses on giving clients the clarity and confidence they need to make the right decisions. Will is skilled at explaining technical and complex concepts to a wide range of audiences.

Before moving into M&A, Will worked in corporate finance and infrastructure advisory. He advised on some of Queensland’s largest infrastructure and energy projects, including a major water sector contract that is critical to the state’s long-term service delivery. He also worked closely with Queensland Treasury and Energy Queensland, delivering economic and energy market modelling that directly shaped their investment and strategic planning. Through earlier roles at TSA Riley and Equifax, he brings both technical skill and commercial insight to every engagement.

Clients trust Will to be upfront and objective, even when that means recommending they walk away from a deal. He values the professional relationships he builds, both within and beyond the workplace.

Will graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a degree in finance and economics. He is currently completing a masters in sustainable energy at the University of Queensland. He also holds the Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute.
