New associate appointments and further development of the Clairfield Academy
Three of Clairfield’s experienced and promising analysts were recently promoted to associates.
Felipe Selva Von Koszta-rab, based in Barcelona, joined Clairfield earlier this year after previously working in audits and deal advisory at KPMG for four years. Felipe holds a masters in corporate finance & law from ESADE Business School. During his time at Clairfield he has been instrumental in mandates related to industrials, retail, and the Internet of Things, as well as services such as BPO and transportation. « We are pleased to recognize Felipe’s initative and industry with a promotion that will lead to a proactive role in managing client projects, » said Brian O’Hare, partner of Clairfield Spain.
In Frankfurt, the two new associates are Ekaterina Abrosimova and Konstantin Zygan. Both joined Clairfield in 2016 after internships during their masters program at Frankfurt School of Finance. They have since proved adept at performing sector research and complicated financial modelling that is at the linchpin of company valuations. In addition to their stellar work as analysts, Ekaterina passed the level 1 CFA exam last year and is currently preparing for the Level 2 exam. Konstantin organized a recruiting information night at Frankfurt with students from Frankfurt School of Finance earlier this year. “We are pleased that very often our young professionals continue or return to Clairfield following internships in order to pursue careers with us”, said Albert Schander, partner of Clairfield Germany.

The Clairfield Academy is our internal training program for juniors held at locations around the world. The Frankfurt office is hosting a Clairfield Academy event today with Mesterheide Insurance Brokers. Senior representatives of this leading M&A solutions provider will discuss applications of insurance in M&A transactions with Clairfield professionals. Later this week the Academy is holding a workshop in Barcelona on LBO modelling, a topic identified by the participants of being of particular relevance. The workshop will be imparted by Hans Buysse, partner of Clairfield International in Belgium and a professor at the Vlerick Business School.
