GIGA.GREEN raised equity from Kommunalkredit Austria AG
GIGA.GREEN, a leading provider of solar energy solutions for commercial clients in Germany, successfully closed a EUR 30 million revolving Capex facility with Kommunalkredit Austria AG.
The facility will support the strategic expansion of GIGA.GREEN’s nationwide project portfolio focused on photovoltaic installations on industrial rooftops across Germany.
The revolving structure enables GIGA.GREEN to deploy capital flexibly across multiple projects, reusing funds as projects are refinanced. This enhances the scalability of the business model and accelerates project execution without the need for repeated negotiations with capital providers.
“This financing marks another milestone in our mission to provide companies with access to clean energy without requiring their own investments,” said Wolfgang Röbig, co-founder and managing director of GIGA.GREEN.
Kommunalkredit Austria AG is a Vienna-based European specialist bank focused on financing infrastructure projects in sectors including energy, environment, transport, social infrastructure, and communications. It has a strong focus on supporting projects with sustainable impact across Europe.
