Clairfield is top advisor to Nordic music festivals

Clairfield advised Finnish Metal Events Oy, organizer of Tuska Festival, and its owners on the partial sale of the Tuska festival to Superstruct Entertainment, a portfolio company of Providence Equity Partners.

Tuska, established in 1998, is one of the largest metal festivals in the Nordic countries. The festival is held annually on the last weekend of June on the unique post-industrial Suvilahti site in central Helsinki.

The acquisition will ensure Tuska is able to further improve the existing event and simultaneously collaborate with a chain of quality events.

Clairfield International acted as exclusive financial advisor to the owners of Tuska Festival. Through the transaction, Clairfield strengthens its position as the leading financial advisor in live music festival M&A in the Nordic region. Clairfield previously advised the owners of Flow Festival in Finland and Øyafestivalen and Palmeus Festival in Norway.
