Jacto acquired SOLO

Jacto, a global industrial conglomerate specialising in the agriculture sector, acquired SOLO, a world-leading manufacturer of portable sprayers.

Headquartered in Brazil, Jacto specialises in agricultural machinery and portable devices for agriculture and gardening. It also operates subsidiaries in the cleaning, logistics, and medical materials sectors. Still owned by its founding family, Jacto boasts over 70 years of history, around 5,000 employees, and a strong global presence. The company has manufacturing facilities in Brazil, Argentina, and Thailand, with its products reaching more than 100 countries worldwide.

SOLO Kleinmotoren GmbH is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sprayers, blowers and cut-off grinders. For over 70 years, the family-owned company has developed, produced, and sold products for plant protection, cleaning, disinfection, and the construction sector. SOLO has partners and subsidiaries worldwide in addition to its headquarters in Sindelfingen, Germany.

With the acquisition, Jacto strengthens its presence in the European and African market, accelerating its growth on the continent and establishing a new manufacturing facility.
