Medical Magnus sold to LUX MED
Medical Magnus, a prominent hospital in Lodz known for its excellence in orthopaedics and multidisciplinary care, was sold to LUX MED.
Founded in 1987, Medical Magnus features four modern operating theatres, a 36-bed ward, a comprehensive rehabilitation department, and a multi-speciality outpatient clinic. The hospital is a regional leader in orthopaedic treatment and a pioneer in regenerative medicine using stem cells.
Medical Magnus is an active research centre, collaborating with academic institutions. Dr. Marek Krochmalski, the founder and renowned orthopaedic surgeon, will remain involved post-transaction, supporting LUX MED’s growth in central Poland.
LUX MED, part of the international Bupa Group, is Poland’s leading private healthcare provider, with over 300 medical centres, 15 hospitals, and a network of 3,000 partner clinics. This acquisition strengthens its specialist hospital offering and expands access to advanced treatment solutions.
