WCC, a Dutch a developer of advanced data matching software solutions for governments and businesses, sold its Identity Solution HERMES to Vision Box, a subsidiary of Amadeus.
WCC is a leading developer of matching “software with a social purpose.” The software is used by governments for public employment services and workforce development, immigration and border control, and electronic civil registration and vital statistics. Hermes is a is WCC’s highly reliable border control software solution. It is a person-centric, integrated border security solution for screening advance passenger information and passenger name record data.
WCC and Amadeus have a longstanding and successful partnership, collaborating on integrated border management solutions worldwide. The inclusion of HERMES in the Amadeus portfolio marks a natural next step in the cooperation. Combined with existing biometric technologies like e-Gates and facial recognition, this acquisition enables more comprehensive support for seamless border and identity management, from departure to arrival, enhancing the overall traveler experience.
