Ennatuurlijk, a grid operator providing heat to over 85,000 households and companies in the Netherlands, acquired ECW Geoholding, a leading geothermal energy producer, from ECW Energy.
Ennatuurlijk, backed by PGGM and Veolia, works continuously on developing sustainable energy sources, technologies and innovations of existing grids in order to accelerate the energy transition. Geothermal heat offers enormous potential as a sustainable energy source. With the acquisition of ECW Geoholding, Ennatuurlijk found a perfect partner to team up with in working towards its 2040 goal: carbon-neutral heat grids.
