Aretè Capital, a holding group offering managerial skills and financial resources to companies facing changes or important challenges, acquired OCEM, specialized in the production of lighting systems for airports and electronic power converters for physic laboratories, through bankruptcy procedure.

The management of NykampNyboer, leading Dutch advisory firm in brand implementation and brand improvement, holding 50% of the shares in the company, acquired the other 50% of the shares of Friesland Bank Investments.

Kiwa is a Dutch company active in inspection, testing, technology, training and data services. The secondary buyout was to NPM Capital and the management, and the selling shareholder was ABN AMRO Participaties.

Multiple acquisitions of various distributions companies of advertisement leaflets and local newspapers, amongst which the Alfa Group, led to the formation of a merged company, currently called Axender. The shareholders of Axender are various regional companies, H2 Equity partners and Vondel Finance.

Agribio Group has a global leading position in vegetative breeding in horticultural business. H2 Equity Partners acquired together with management 100% of the shares in Agribio Holding, part of Japanese Group Kirin.

Clairfield in the Netherlands acted as advisor to the company in terms of a valuation and a legal restructuring, as well as the creation of a new holding structure.

Life & Mobility Holding, a Dutch innovative manufacturer of wheelchairs and scoot mobiles, and owned by management and ABN AMRO Participaties, performed a secondary buyout. As a result of this transaction, management holds 60% of the shares in the company, and the new shareholder Berk Partners IV holds 40%.

Kiwa, active in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, acquired Prismant.

Since 2006 Kiwa, company active in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, performs a buy and build strategy and acquired several companies in Europe. In order to continue its growth, Kiwa attracted new credit facilities with its bank. Clairfield in the Netherlands acted as advisor to Kiwa.

ICT Media is a multimedia company in the field of CIO, IT and sourcing communities. Clairfield in the Netherlands acted as advisor to the shareholders of the company.

Following an MBO, Amerborg acquired, together with the management of Management Team and Sprout business magazines, the shares out of the group of VNU publishers, establishing the new company MT Media Group. Vondel Finance acquired a minority shareholding in the new company.

ABN AMRO Participaties and management acquired the shares of Kiwa, company active in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, after a process during which the commercial activities in the certification business were separated.

The shareholders and management of Bugaboo, commendable Dutch company producing mobility products, primarily prams, were provided strategic, financial and legal advice on the establishment of the corporate governance, and the strategic scenarios for the company and its shareholders.

Gerwah GmbH, a mechanical engineering company, was sold to VBG Group, a Swedish engineering group.

Smile Telecom, provider of telecom services that focuses on long-term WIMAX licenses, acquired Breezz, provider of telecom services to midsized Dutch companies.

E2 Cleantech, a Dutch venture capital fund focused on cleantech, acquired Crystal Q.
