IVES sold to Volaris Group
IVES, a leading French provider of software solutions dedicated to accessibility and inclusion, was sold to Volaris Group.
The parties
IVES provides software for accessibility and inclusion, serving deaf and hard-of-hearing people and others facing communication barriers. With its subsidiaries IVES Inc in Canada and Elioz, and the Solupi brand, the group combines software platforms, relay services, and human-assisted communication for public and private sector organisations across France and Canada. Impact Partners, a European impact investing platform with more than EUR 500 million under management, backed the company.
Volaris Group acquires and develops software providers serving vertical markets. A division of Constellation Software Inc., it supports its companies through product development, day-to-day operations, and bolt-on acquisitions.
Outcome
IVES joins a group built to hold and develop vertical market software businesses over the long term, with backing for product development and further acquisitions. The sale gives Impact Partners an exit from its investment.
