Centrum Medyczne Med-Gastr, a leading gastroenterology center in Central Poland, sold a majority stake to Tar Heel Capital.

Founded in 2006, CM Med-Gastr delivers top-tier medical care, both under the National Health Fund (NFZ) and through private healthcare services.

The company offers a wide range of services, including primary healthcare, specialist consultations (including gastroenterology, surgery, endocrinology, and cardiology), laboratory diagnostics, and surgical procedures. It also operates a dedicated endoscopy unit and a specialized pancreatic disease diagnosis and treatment center, which provides advanced procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound and tumor marker diagnostics.

Tar Heel Capital is a private equity firm based in Poland, focused on investing in and developing small to mid-sized companies with strong growth potential. The firm partners with entrepreneurs and management teams to support business expansion, operational improvements, and value creation.
