Landi Renzo sold IMW Industries to EcoFusion Energy Holdings

The parties

Landi Renzo designs and manufactures alternative fuel systems, principally LPG and CNG kits for vehicles, alongside clean energy infrastructure. The company was founded in Reggio Emilia in 1954 and trades on Borsa Italiana (Euronext STAR Milan), with continuing backing from the founding Landi family and institutional partners. It supplies green mobility and refuelling technology to major automotive manufacturers and to the independent aftermarket.

IMW Industries Ltd manufactures natural gas compression systems and renewable natural gas equipment for vehicle fuelling and industrial applications. Founded in 1912 and based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, its range includes CNG compressors, dispensers, control panels, and storage systems.

EcoFusion Energy Holdings is a Canadian corporation headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. It operates in clean energy, power generation, and natural gas infrastructure, and manages specialised subsidiaries including AltaStream Energy Systems.

Outcome of the transaction

The sale forms part of the rationalisation of the industrial portfolio on the Landi Renzo side. For EcoFusion Energy Holdings, the acquisition brings IMW Industries’ manufacturing capability into the group and strengthens its position in compressed natural gas infrastructure, where it operates through AltaStream Energy Systems.

IMW Industries continues its compression activities for existing customers and takes on an expanded production role supporting AltaStream Energy Systems’ electricity generation business.
