Ennatuurlijk enters strategic partnership with Celsias
Ennatuurlijk, a grid operator providing heat to more than 90,000 households and 1.200 companies in the Netherlands, started a strategic partnership with Celsias, a Dutch company specialized in underground thermal energy storage systems.
The parties
Ennatuurlijk is a Dutch heat grid operator supplying more than 90,000 households and 1,200 companies. Headquartered in Eindhoven, it provides heating and cooling to private individuals, collective buildings, and businesses, with 300 employees delivering over 3,900,000 GJ of heat supply a year. Its Klein Collectief division focuses on small collective heating and cooling systems of up to 1,500 connections.
Celsias is a Dutch energy services company that develops and maintains installations generating renewable energy, particularly underground thermal energy storage systems. Founded in 2020, it works through a network of project contractors and housing corporations, with a track record in collective systems for newly built residential real estate.
Outcome
The partnership strengthens Ennatuurlijk’s Klein Collectief division and brings Celsias’s underground thermal energy storage capability alongside it. Through the collaboration, Klein Collectief aims to connect a further 2,000 to 2,500 households.
